Learn to Dance Flamenco!
Dance is a natural expression of the human body and soul that unites all cultures of the world. If you have never learned to dance then you are missing out on something everyone needs to feel truly alive! Flamenco is more than mastery of technique, it is a way of connecting with and expressing the deepest feelings in our hearts, and it can have an almost magical power.
Flamenco Dance Holidays
Flamenco is probably the most important artistic expression of Spanish culture, and there is no better way to enter the spirit of Spain and Andalusia than to learn to dance flamenco. If you have had enough of beaches and bars and want to discover the real Spain then a flamenco holiday in a mountain village close to Granada - the most beautiful and magical city of Spain - may well be the answer! You can either book an intensive course or, alternatively, if you are in the area and would like to have a few lessons in flamenco dance, individually or with a group of friends, we can arrange something around your schedule. Please contact me for more information.

These courses are aimed at individuals or groups of all levels who wish to learn to dance flamenco for a period of time – from a weekend to several weeks. In these classes we will work on technique, rhythm, and various choreographies. We can also introduce dancing with shawl, cane, fan, long gown, castanets and other accessories.

Flamenco Dances Performances for Private Parties and Fiestas
Carmen offers private flamenco dance performances at her studio and at parties and fiestas, accompanied by dance, guitar and song. Carrmen also performs regularly at festivals, café-theatres, art exhibitions and in videos. Carmen's performances range from traditional shows of flamenco dance accompanied by guitar and singer, to contemporary flamenco performances with musical fusions and projected images. Although the latter are not yet common in Andalusia, they are being well received because of Carmen's originality and because of the improvised nature of flamenco. If you would like to arrange a flamenco dance performance for a private party or fiesta please contact Carmen for more information.
Flamenco Guitar, Singing & Percussion Lessons
As well as flamenco dance lessons, the studio offers classes of flamenco guitar, singing and percussion. The classes are taught by three young rising stars of flamenco in Granada, who work with the greatest flamenco artists of today. To get to know these three teachers, read the interview on page Flamenco Guitar, Percussion & Song
